A Flavourful Adventure: Hawksmoor, Canary Wharf’s Sunday Roast Extravaganza!

Picture this: a Sunday filled with mouthwatering delights, laughter, and a touch of sophistication. That’s exactly what I experienced at Hawksmoor, Canary Wharf, during their epic Sunday roast feast!

From the moment I strolled in, I was greeted with smiles as warm as the roast potatoes. The vibe was classy yet relaxed, with decor that made me feel like I’d stepped into the coolest dinner party ever.

Let’s talk starters. Who knew spinach could steal the show? But at Hawksmoor, it totally did! Fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of fancy – it set the tone for the deliciousness to come. Served with a hint of garlic and a dash of seasoning, it was a delightful surprise that left me craving more.

And oh boy, did the main course deliver! Roast beef, crispy potatoes, yorkshire puddings, carrots, cabbage and an abundance of gravy that could make you weep with joy – it was like a hug for my taste buds. Each bite was a flavour explosion, and I couldn’t get enough. The beef, cooked to perfection with a mouthwatering centre (after all, i’m sorry folks but I like my beef well done), practically melted in my mouth. And those roast potatoes? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – the stuff of dreams! To follow up, I ordered a scruptious pear cheesecake with coconut ice-cream and it was really nice and left a pleasant after-taste.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and always ready with a joke or two – they made me feel right at home. From recommending the perfect wine pairing to ensuring that my water glass was never empty, their attention to detail was truly commendable.

So, on the official rating scale of “OMG, that was amazing!” to “Eh, it was alright,” I’m giving Hawksmoor, Canary Wharf, a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Because while it was pretty darn close to perfection, there’s always room for just a tad more deliciousness, am I right?

In a nutshell, if you’re in the mood for a Sunday roast that’s equal parts fancy and fun, Hawksmoor, Canary Wharf, is the place to be. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Whether you’re catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply indulging in a culinary adventure, Hawksmoor promises an experience that’s as memorable as it is delicious. So go ahead, treat yourself – you deserve it!
