There’s something really special about a weekend that flows with good energy from start to finish — and that’s exactly what I got last Saturday at Putt in the Park Wandsworth.
Now, let me be honest — I rarely get to spend my weekends basking in the sun, playing mini golf and enjoying delicious food with friends. But last weekend, the stars aligned, and I did all of the above… and then some!
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest, friendliest staff who instantly set the tone for the day. Before heading onto the course, we were offered a drink of our choice — a simple but thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly looked after. With our drinks in hand (pre-golf, of course 😉), we were ready to get our game faces on and head to the green.

The course was made up of 12 fun-filled holes, each with its own little twist. There was laughter, a bit of light competition, and yes — a lot of questionable golfing moments. Spoiler alert: I came last… but honestly, I think I was just being generous. Sometimes you’ve got to let your friends shine, right? 😌 Besides, for me, it was less about winning and more about soaking up the moment, having a laugh, and enjoying the sunshine.

After working up a serious appetite, we were treated to a hearty lunch, complete with more drinks to round things off. The food was just what we needed — delicious, filling, and full of flavour. It’s safe to say, Putt in the Park don’t just do golf well; they’ve nailed the food and drink game too.

One thing I really appreciated was how affordable the whole experience was. It’s not often you can enjoy an activity, great food, and quality time with friends without breaking the bank — but this was truly a day of good vibes and good value.

We wrapped up the afternoon by wandering around Wandsworth Park, taking in the beauty of the riverside views and lush greenery. It was the perfect ending to what felt like a mini getaway — all without leaving London.

If you’re looking for a unique, low-key day out that combines fun, food, and feel-good energy, Putt in the Park Wandsworth is an absolute must. Whether you’re planning a chilled day with friends, a cute date, or even a solo day of play and people-watching, this place has something for everyone.
I’ll definitely be going back — and next time, I’m bringing my A-game. 💪🏽🏌️♀️
Until next time,
