Celebrating Another Year – Afternoon Tea at Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel

I was going to name this post “Levelling Up” as this is what always comes to mind when I go to afternoon tea. I love the feeling it brings and it reminds me of why I keep pushing and working on this blog and my other ventures. What it would be like to go to afternoon tea whenever I wanted and to review various swanky hotels and seeing what they have to offer. I am blessed with the fact that I ran my own online magazine for 8 years which afforded me the luxury of reviewing ALOT of different afternoon tea venues. Yet, that was then and this is now and I really want to take sashashantel.com to next level and to review more venues like these.

On this occasion, I booked an afternoon tea session with my mum to celebrate her birthday and to have an all-round bestie day. I had my eye on afternoon tea at Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel for a while and this was the perfect opportunity to do so.

Located on Upper Worborn Street, London, The Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel is a swanky, 4 star hotel which has modern rooms, a classic bar and a highly rated Italian Restaurant. To be honest it was the images of the afternoon tea and cakes which caught my eye and I was excited to see what the overall experience would bring.

From the outset the service was exemplary and we were greeted with big smiles and and given a warm welcome. Immediately we were talked through our experience and offered a number of different teas to choose from as well as being told what type of cakes and sandwiches we would receive.

We were seated by the window and it really helped to set the scene. The area was clean and the seating area was perfect.
I loved the scones and the sandwiches and opted from hot chocolate as opposed to the conventional English Tea which I don’t usually get as an option.

The company made this occasion that more fun, spending time with my mum is always a blast, we ate, we laughed and we took loads of pictures and I took more than a healthy number of selfies!

Afternoon Tea at The Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel was a fabulous experience and one that I highly reccommend. I booked this amazing experience via my favourite app Groupon and an afternoon tea session for two with Processco was only £29! Groupon is definitely the destination for exceptional afternoon tea experiences. Check out another two I booked via their app HERE
