How Exactly Did Bubble Tea Get So Popular?

There’s one drink on every influencer’s lips as of late, and it’s not the latest super expensive alcohol brand launched by some celebrity. It’s (usually) less alcoholic, almost always a lot chewier, and it’s something that people of all ages are getting into: bubble tea. But why is it so popular, exactly? Let’s dip our spoon into our question to find out.

Sasha Shantel X Slimfast

I’ve been really focused on building partnerships with reputable brands over the last few months. SashaShantel.com is more than my blog, it is something I see myself growing and developing for the rest of my life and it is a visual representation of all the lifestyle choices; the products; that I use in my day to day life. Being truly authentic is really important to me and as much as quantity is a very vital aspect of content creation. At present; I am more concerned with the quality of my output.

Buying Guide For Lavazza Coffee Pods

Shopping for coffee beans can get a baffling experience unless you are already aware of what you are searching for. Lavazza coffee pods have a great range of coffee brands, including Lavazza. The Lavazza beans are split broadly into two categories, one in blue bags and one in red bags. The Lavazza red is primarily found in the carries and cash, high street, and supermarket shops. The Lavazza blue is one of the premium range beans mostly found at hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops. The blue range is mostly more prevalent in both of the beans. Some new blends are in the coloured bags, including Brasile Arabica and Alteco.

An evening of Luxury Living with The Flaneur

I am totally under no illusions that this type of living is the norm for millions of people. I for one know exactly what it’s like to dine in 5 star restaurants and to hang out in hotels and spas that many would dream of. (Not bad for a woman from Peckham!) However, since I ended my magazine in 2018, and the pandemic dropped kicked me to the ground in 2020 (like it did for so many people!) I haven’t really dined out anywhere special. I haven’t surrounded myself with opulence and I haven’t been treated to anything special either.

Celebrating Another Year – Afternoon Tea at Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel

was going to name this post “Levelling Up” as this is what always comes to mind when I go to afternoon tea. I love the feeling it brings and it reminds me of why I keep pushing and working on this blog and my other ventures. What it would be like to go to afternoon tea whenever I wanted and to review various swanky hotels and seeing what they have to offer. I am blessed with the fact that I ran my own online magazine for 8 years which afforded me the luxury of reviewing ALOT of different afternoon tea venues. Yet, that was then and this is now and I really want to take sashashantel.com to next level and to review more venues like these.

#GetCooking | Vegan ‘Quiche’

*Guest post

This is a staple in our house. It’s very tasty straight from the oven and works fab cold in a picnic with some pickle.

By all means make your own pastry, but there are very good vegan pre-made shortcrusts in every supermarket.

Embracing a new way of eating with Green Chef

I love food and those of you who follow me over on the Foodie Files know that eating is one of my favourite pastimes. However, when it comes to cooking the food, I have been known to be pretty lazy in that department 🙂 However, during lockdown, I made a conscious effort to get into the kitchen and learn how to cook and I must say I have become quite a seasoned chef.
