Over the weekend, I had the most amazing time at Rembrandt Van Wine’s Neon Sip and Paint in the Dark event in Islington, North London! If you’ve ever thought about trying a sip-and-paint event, I’ve got to tell you – this one should be at the top of your list. I’ve been wanting to experience something like this for ages, and finally, I got to tick it off my bucket list!
The moment I walked in, I could feel the energy in the air. The space was lit up with neon lights, giving everything such a cool, vibrant vibe. It was the perfect backdrop for a creative night out. ✨ From there, the night just kept getting better. The music playing throughout the event had me in full party mode – MJ, Nelly Furtado, ABBA, A-HA, and even some Grease! 🎶🕺💃 Let’s just say I was dancing (and singing!) along to every single track. The mix of nostalgia and upbeat tunes set the perfect tone for a fun and laid-back evening.
As soon as I arrived, I was handed a glass of wine – I had the option of white, rosé, or red – and that’s when the creative juices started flowing! 🍷 I’m no Picasso, but I felt like I was in my element. Whether you’re an experienced artist or someone who’s never picked up a brush before, the event is designed for everyone. The best part? The ticket price (just under £40) includes everything you need – an apron to keep your clothes clean, brushes, paints, and an instructor to guide you step by step. It’s all about having fun and letting go of any pressure.
The instructor was so talented and really helped make the entire experience smooth. We were provided with a template image to sketch and paint, which meant we could all create our own masterpiece. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having – just singing along to the music, painting, and totally unwinding. It was the perfect way to spend the evening.
One of the highlights of the night was getting to see the incredible artwork everyone had created. It was so inspiring to see how everyone’s creativity came to life in the most unique ways. From abstract pieces to beautiful landscapes, the creativity in that room was absolutely contagious!
