It’s been a while since I stepped into a press day – and Planet Farms’ launch event in Central London reminded me exactly why I love them. I was invited to the exclusive press launch of this exciting new brand, and what a treat it turned out to be.
Greeted on arrival by the lovely Joanne from the official PR team, I was immediately given the lowdown on the brand. Planet Farms isn’t just another salad brand – they’re changing the game when it comes to how we grow our greens.





Using cutting-edge vertical farming technology, Planet Farms cultivates their produce in high-tech, sustainable environments that use 95% less water and zero pesticides. This process ensures maximum freshness and flavour while reducing the environmental impact. Basically, it’s clean eating with a conscience – and I’m here for it.
The venue itself was a vibe – inviting, elegant, and full of energy. Guests were treated to a delicious spread of mini entrées, all created using Planet Farms’ signature lettuce. Light, tasty, and fragrant, each bite was a burst of freshness. The endless prosecco? A glamorous cherry on top.
Adding to the fun was a live DJ spinning great dance tracks throughout the evening – giving the event a laid-back but elevated feel. There were also different lettuce bags on display, which we were encouraged to pick up and review on the spot – a fun, interactive touch.




One of the brand’s founders later took to the mic and delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech, sharing how Planet Farms began and why the move into the UK market – with a national launch in Waitrose stores – is such a major milestone.
