Sasha Shantel X Megan Ismay

Honestly my lovelies, the development of my blog has been a long time coming and with this growth has come an abundance of opportunities to work with brands that have a positive message and stand for change in one way or another. Via my INSTAGRAM page, I was contacted by the ethical and sustainable clothing brand Megan Ismay who is an eco-friendly fashion brand based in the UK. All of their clothes are ethically made in Nottingham and all their styles are available in regular and tall fit.

When I visited their site, I was instantly impressed by their launch collection, a collection made up of skirts, dresses, tops and playsuits.

I am also very inspired by women in business and found the backstory behind the brand truly inspiring. The founder of Megan Ismay left her full-time job this year to follow her dreams of launching an ethical clothing brand.

If you have followed me on sashashantel.com for a while you will know that I am passionate about women founders and sharing their stories on my female empowerment brand womenwhoslay.co.uk .

Megan kindly offered me the opportunity to choose any two outfits from the collection. After going through the collection thoroughly, I opted for their White organic bamboo sleeveless top and their Black recycled high neck midi dress.

Within a matter of days of stating my preferences, I was delivered their carefully packaged clothing items and was immediately taken aback by the quality of the design, material and presentation. It was evident from the outset that a great amount of care and attention to detail was paid to these products.

I had scheduled a massive shoot with Katie Ryan Creations and created two looks with the pieces; the finished looks were fabulous. (If I do say so myself)

LOOK ONE

There are so many ways that you can style a white vest and I went bold with this look. The Megan Ismay white vest is really white and really helps to tie this look together. I’m in love with the grey and red combination, what do you all think? Yay or nay?

Look 2

I really didn’t have to do too much to make this dress stand out for all the right reasons. Guys, I don’t think you realise how this clung to my body but was in no way restrictive. The quality of these garments cannot be faulted, this dress made me feel like a million dollars. I kept it simple by teaming it with gold accessories and black heels. RESULT!
