On Monday night, I was invited to review the Olivi

On Monday night, I was invited to review the Olivier Award winning show @showstoppermusical at Cambridge Theatre and to say I was blown away is quite simply an understatement.

@showstoppermusical is 100% improvised theatre where the cast have NOTHING prepared in advance; this includes the music, the choreography and dialogue!

The audience were in charge of choosing everything from the name of the show they were performing to the plot and the style in who I they performed each musical number.

I have not laughed so hard in a long time and was entertained throughout. I couldn’t get my head around how the cast were able to take on new personas at a drop of a hat without any form of rehearsal.

The audience were a major part of the experience with theatre lovers all around who were really forthcoming with fun ideas and plot twists! And the cast were extremely talented. It would be impossible to pick out a favourite as they were all exceptional with top-tier vocal talent combined with on-point comic timing. I absolutely loved this!
