London’s music scene is about to get a whole lot more immersive. Polygon Portal, Soho’s dedicated 360-degree spatial audio listening room, is returning for a second season, bringing previously unreleased Prince recordings, legendary albums and exclusive artist experiences to the capital.

For music lovers who have ever wished they could get closer to their favourite artists, this might be the London experience you’ve been waiting for.

Forget traditional concerts, crowded dancefloors and simply pressing play on your favourite album. Polygon Portal is taking music appreciation to another level, inviting audiences into an intimate listening environment where sound moves around, above and through the room.

Following its inaugural season earlier this year, the innovative music destination has announced a new programme featuring an impressive collection of artists, exclusive listening sessions, live performances and immersive experiences.

And with the likes of Prince, UNKLE, Suede, De La Soul and Pink Floyd on the programme, there is plenty to get excited about.

A New Way to Experience Music

Located at 75 Dean Street in the heart of Soho, Polygon Portal offers a listening experience that goes far beyond the traditional stereo sound we’re accustomed to.

Powered by an advanced spatial audio system developed by L-Acoustics, the venue uses speakers positioned throughout the room to create a three-dimensional listening environment.

The result? Music that surrounds the audience rather than simply playing from one direction.

Imagine hearing the individual layers of a song unfold around you, with instruments, vocals and melodies occupying different positions in the room. From the subtle details of a studio recording to the atmospheric textures of an electronic track, the technology is designed to reveal music in an entirely different way.

Rather than being another entertainment venue competing for your attention, Polygon Portal encourages audiences to immerse themselves in the art of listening.

And with an intimate setting, dedicated listening sessions and an eclectic programme of music, it’s an exciting addition to London’s ever-evolving cultural landscape.

Previously Unreleased Prince Recordings Take Centre Stage

One of the most exciting highlights of the new season is a special listening experience dedicated to the late, legendary Prince.

Presented in partnership with Legacy Recordings, Prince – Timeless celebrates the release of a new posthumous album featuring ten rare and previously unreleased recordings from the artist’s renowned musical vault.

Spanning recordings made between 1977 and 2016, the collection offers fans an opportunity to discover another chapter of Prince’s extraordinary musical legacy.

The experience is particularly significant as 2026 marks ten years since the music icon’s passing.

At Polygon Portal, audiences will have the opportunity to hear the project in full through the venue’s immersive spatial audio system, creating a listening experience that places the music at the heart of the occasion.

For dedicated Prince fans, this is one to have firmly on the radar.

Prince – Timeless listening sessions are scheduled for 10, 16, 17, 18 and 31 October, with additional dates on 3 and 13 November 2026.

UNKLE’s Beyond The Road Gets an Immersive Reinvention

Another standout experience comes courtesy of UNKLE, whose acclaimed Beyond The Road project is being reimagined for Polygon Portal.

Originally presented at London’s Saatchi Gallery in 2019, the ambitious installation transformed music from UNKLE’s The Road: Part I and The Road: Part II / Lost Highway into an immersive environment combining sound, visuals and installation art.

For its return, the original multi-room experience has been adapted into a single listening space, allowing audiences to explore specially reworked tracks through Polygon Portal’s 360-degree sound system.

The programme includes an artist Q&A featuring UNKLE’s James Lavelle and members of the creative team behind the original installation.

The 15 October session has already sold out, with an additional listening session scheduled for 30 October 2026.

From Suede to De La Soul: An Impressive Line-Up of Musical Legends

The second season also celebrates some of the most influential albums and artists across multiple generations and musical genres.

Britpop favourites Suede are marking the 30th anniversary of their acclaimed album Coming Up, which has been mixed for spatial audio for the first time by musician and producer Steven Wilson.

The special listening experience offers an opportunity to rediscover the band’s iconic 1996 release in a new sonic environment, accompanied by an in-person Q&A with band members Neil Codling and Mat Osman.

The 17 October session has already sold out, although additional sessions are expected to be announced.

Hip-hop fans will also have the opportunity to experience De La Soul’s celebrated album Stakes Is High, with a special 30th-anniversary listening event scheduled for 23 October.

Elsewhere, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here will feature in dedicated spatial audio sessions, while New Order, Jeff Buckley and electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani are among the other artists represented throughout the season.

With a programme spanning rock, hip-hop, electronic music and experimental sound, Polygon Portal is offering something for listeners with a wide range of musical tastes.

More Than Music: Immersive Wellbeing Experiences

What makes Polygon Portal particularly interesting is that its programme extends beyond album launches and musical performances.

The venue is also introducing a three-month series of immersive wellbeing experiences exploring the relationship between sound, breathwork and connection.

Curated by Jamie Clements, the programme includes collaborations with Vraell, Tom Middleton and Sounds of the Ocean, alongside other sound-led experiences designed to encourage audiences to slow down and reconnect.

It’s an intriguing combination of music, technology and wellbeing, and one that reflects the growing interest in experiences that offer more than a conventional night out.

Whether you’re looking to discover new music, revisit a beloved album or simply experience something different in London, Polygon Portal’s second season offers an alternative way to spend an evening in the capital.

When Does Polygon Portal Season Two Begin?

Polygon Portal’s second season has been announced from 27 September, with its published October programme beginning on 1 October 2026 and further sessions scheduled throughout November and December.

The venue is located in the heart of Soho, making it a convenient destination for Londoners and visitors looking to explore the capital’s music and cultural scene.

Tickets start from £19, with individual sessions, prices and availability varying depending on the experience.

With selected events already selling out, it’s worth checking the official programme in advance if there’s a particular artist or listening session that catches your attention.
