The Positive Day Planner

Guys they say it takes 21 days for an activity or action you complete over this period to become a habit and a part of daily life. Having committed to a number of things for 21 days and then forgetting about them a few days later ( I know I am not the only one!) I can’t really say that this has always been true for me. However, of late I have really sacrificed my self care as I work on re-branding who I am as a coach and defining my brand Women Who Slay.

I am an advocate of the importance of journaling and brain dumping because life can really become chaotic and the external noise combined with the internal can really play havoc on your overall wellbeing. Though, I hadn’t done either for some time.

So I was pretty happy to see my dear friend Leanne Pero launch her brand new venture ‘The Positive Day Planner’. Put simply, it is a 21 day planner which provides you with an outlet to not only plan your day but to also get the habit of finding the positive in every day.

I must digress and say that I am extremely proud of Leanne. For those who don’t know her. I have had the pleasure of interviewing her for Women Who Slay and have shared with my readers her amazing story.

Leanne Pero is a X19 time award winning entrepreneur, breast cancer survivor & community champion! Basically she’s the bloody business and just when I thought she couldn’t do anything else (like honestly, where does she find the time?!) she launched this!

I love that the planner comes in red as it reminds me of doing things with heart. The branding bears a bright red heart on a black and white cover. On the inside you get given 21 pages of inspiration which is perfect to set you up for the day ahead or to use as a tool to reflect on the day past.

You get asked to list 10 things you are grateful for…
To list 3 ways you will make today great, a space to write down a positive affirmation of the day + more. You also get one side of A5 space each day to just brain dump and let your ideas flow, which is COMPLETELY NECESSARY!.

I would describe myself as being a planner freak and I have accumulated more than a few but what I love about this one is that it calls for you to be committed for 21 days and to embark on a journey of both self love and self care to a specific time frame. From this, you should then develop the habit to continue the pattern and continue journaling.

Upon making my order, I was given the option to purchase the planner on its own or to purchase the bundle which included a personalised pen and gift card too. I opted to add the two to my order which brought the grand total to £13 (+ postage & packaging)

So guys, join me as I embark on the 21 day journey of completing the positive day planner. I will be sharing my entries on my Instagram so keep posted on there.

Well done to Leanne for once again smashing it with yet another phenomenal and meaningful venture. I am so thrilled to not only support her work but to also embark on further self care for myself.

Life Update: I’m Tired… For Real

Seriously, my loves. I am deflated, depleted and over everything if I be honest with you. I feel like I’ve been working 14 hours a day every day for months and I am just not getting anywhere. After being told too many times that I am over emotional. I now no longer want to be emotional about any one or anything. If I could lock away and not have any contact with anyone for 6 months, I can honestly say that I would take that offer up because I have had enough. I’ve had enough of backstabbers (there have been a few over the last few months). I am tired of having to fake it with them. Some I have blocked and deleted because they was fake AF and smiled in my face, pretending to be my friend, or a supporter when they were slyly wanting the worst for me.
