I love me some tassels and have a number of outfits ranging from jackets, trousers, tops, skirts, dresses and bags with tassels on them. Tassels never go out of fashion and can easily dress up any outfit.

After being contacted by the online fashion brand Katch Me I was given the opportunity to request an outfit from their website to style and showcase on my Instagram page. It goes without saying that I had to go for a tassel co-ordinate that I originally saw being worn by my favourite Love Island contestant Laura White.

I set the challenge to style the set slightly different and to give it a little more attitude. Most women would opt for perspex heels or open toe stilettos with this number, but I really wanted to push the boundaries and teamed it with both my snake print boots from Isawitfirst (currently at 50% off) and with my perspex boots that I have worn a dozen times on this blog and if from EbayUK.

I wanted to show how this simple but sexy outfit could be made to look more expensive that was it actually is. By adding faux fur ( I go into more detail about this in my last post) a perspex clutch (EbayUK) and shades the look instantly showed wealth and an added air of elegance. The silver choker is a market find (Roman Road Market) and cost me £1! The earrings are from Primark of course and are a part of a two pack set which I got for £1.50. The perspex shades were £5 and are also from Roman Road Market.

Many thanks to Katch Me for working with me. What do you think guys? do you think I styled this look well? See you in the next post. 🙂

I hadn’t heard of this brand before they reached out to me for a collaboration. But I can honestly say that I was missing out as I have never worn a pair of jeans so comfortable; and I mean NEVER! I practically shot this look then returned home and wore it at home too. That’s the kind of comfortable I am referring to.

Orange Is The Colour

I’ve never ever purchased an orange blazer before. In fact; I don’t really own much orange clothing. But there is something really amazing about this orange blazer. I have your typical black and blue blazers, I also own yellow and green blazers, but nothing beats my new fave. I had already planned my all white ensemble and knew that the blazer would make it a LOOK. But, I honestly was not ready for this.

Stunting In My Green Shein Suit

Don’t I honestly look like a Jazz musician in this suit? lol; but I absolutely love it! I really wanted to try something a LOT different from my norm. Fashion is about pushing boundaries and not always sticking to your comfort zone. This suit couldn’t be further from my comfort zone. A bright green, not tight fitting suit teamed with big black boots. I never felt so free in this easy and effortless look.
