Happy New Year Guys and thank you for sticking with me on this! Some how we made it to another year and this must mean that we all have so much more to achieve in 2019. One of my goals was to ensure that I shared content on products that I have used for a long time so I can provide you with in-depth reviews that I am truly passionate and invested in. Yesterday, I put up quite a revealing post about myself on my Instagram on my battles between 2015 and 2019, transparency is my focus going forward and I really want all of my readers to know as much about me as possible.

Due to the stress of that period, my clear skin became somewhat non-existent  and there really wasn’t a day where I had clear skin, without a pimple or black head lingering in the background. By no means was my acne that bad but for those of you who may struggle with skin issues, it does without a shadow of a doubt affect your confidence immensely and a few months ago it became completely unbearable. The major issue was that all of the things that typically and normally helps skin ailments- i.e drinking herbal teas, drinking litres of water etc was not working. In fact, I found the more water I consumed, the worse my skin became.

The spots were painful and would often pop on their own, leaving terrible scars that I would need to cover with foundation and concealers. I used a number of products to help balance out my skin and I will be sharing them on here one by one. I can honestly say that the dr.organic Organic Tea Tree Treatment Gel was that start I needed to help restore the calm to my skin.

BEFORE

AFTER

These were taken three days apart in my car and you can see that there is a significant difference between the two images. Using this balm along with using an acne cream that I will speak about in another post has helped to restore my skin and has relieved the itchy and painful sores that were growing on my skin.

The Organic Tea Tree Treatment gel contains Grapefruit extracts, Fruit Acids and BHA (Salicylic Acid) which is proven to kill spots and other skin ailments. It minimises the appearance of pimples and majorly reduces the redness. It also contains a wide range of other spot killing bioactive, natural and organics ingredients in the form of Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Bilberry Extract, Sugar Cane Extract, Lemon Fruit Extract and Lime Oil.

Initially, when you first apply the cream to your spot it will BURN LIKE HELL. I have to admit, I screamed when I first applied it to my spots. For the best effect, steam your face first, wash, pat dry and then apply onto the affected area and leave overnight. Within a few days, there was a noticeable difference in the size, appearance and pain level of the spots that were on my face.

I am very thankful to this product and have found that when used in conjunction with your daily skin clear regime, magic can happen.

The dr.organic Organic Tea Tree Treatment Gel is an even more exceptional product for skincare due to all of the ingredients it is free from. In the gel you won’t find.

  • Parabens
  • SLS
  • Synthetic Colours
  • Phthalates
  • Petrolatum
  • Glycols
  • DEA
  • BHT
  • Isothiazolinones
  • Mineral Oil
  • Silicones

If you’re battling with skin issues and want to add an effective spot treatment into your regime. I highly recommend you pick up one. Holland and Barrett have an extensive range of products from dr.organic which are pretty affordable. I paid just over £5 for this and although, it’s quite a small tube, you don’t need to apply much to the spots to treat them effectively.
