Can you believe it guys and dolls, Sasha has actually decided to pen not one but two separate beauty reviews on two fabulous beauty products. Although, I don’t by no means see myself as being a beauty blogger. I do pride myself on writing reviews on products that 1. I’ve used for a long time. 2. I have seen the results from and 3. Are cost effective.

Of course, if a product is really good for me, I will invest in it, no matter the price. However, I have been lucky to have found beauty products that are well within my price range, yet still deliver top results.

You may be feeling like you’ve had a strange case of Deja Vu when opening this post as I have written about this very toner before. However, I stopped using it for a year as I believe that sometimes; especially with oily skin, the skin itself gets used to the product and it just isn’t as effective as it once was. (Who else experiences this?)

After a much needed break, I returned to using this toner and once again, it helped to restore calm to my skin. My face particularly is very sensitive and the Garnier toner agrees with my skin because it is 100% perfume free. I also find that unlike many other toners, you don’t need much product to be applied to the cotton pad to get a vast amount off. The Garnier Micellar Cleansing water is also dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested and can be used on your eyes and lips.

Many people don’t realise that the order of ingredients on a product is the order in which the ingredient features in a product and the amount used. Water is the number one factor that the skin needs and it is the first ingredient in this toner. I have used a number of toners that have claimed to be good for oily and spot prone skin, however, have failed to hit the mark because they don’t have water as top listed ingredient. This is a major fail and I would recommend that you avoid any toner that is full of perfume and doesn’t list water first.

I have religiously used this toner for 4 weeks and it has helped to calm down my acne and leaves my face feeling completely clean without feeling sticky or dry after use.

If you have spot prone skin, this product is highly recommended and one I return to time and time again.
