Guys, it’s been a very trying few weeks. My health, both mentally and physically has been put to the test in extraordinary fashion and I haven’t quite understood how I’ve been making it through it all. I have had my faith tested a few times too. But, as always he has come through and delivered when I needed him to most.

The last few weeks also had me doubting whether I’d ever make it. And what I mean by make it is, achieve the success my heart desires. I by no means want to knock what I have achieved thus far but you know when you have a little dream in your heart, a little niggle that just won’t go away? Well, that’s what I’m battling with right now.

I’m finding myself getting really drained by social media too. It’s a double edged sword as I need it to promote myself and what I do but there has been so many days lately where I’ve just wanted to delete it all and disappear. Has anyone else felt this?

I think it’s because lately I’ve been watching a number of television shows from the 90’s when social media was all but an idea and life looked oh so pure and simple then. Now, it’s all about how good your feed is, whether it’s aesthetically pleasing enough and whether people will follow or like your pictures. Let’s just say I’m feeling a little deflated by the entire thing.

I’ve also found myself getting let down by the people in my life. Whether it be friends or family, I have felt that many have turned their backs on me when I needed their support the most and now I no longer feel connected with them. In fact, I feel more disconnected than ever before. I’m welcoming the moments where I don’t have to interact with anyone and I’m unsure how healthy or unhealthy this but all I do know is that it’s totally necessary right now.

I’m working full time and working to launch a phenomenal new brand but a recent health issue has really knocked me off my feet and has left me feeling lethargic every day. I honestly wish the tale of Superman and Lois Lane was my reality right now, but that’s a fantasy too.

Let’s just say, right now I’m feeling the pinch, the bite and everything possibly else life has to throw and although I’m getting a few marks here and there; I am coming out that much stronger and that more resilient.

It’s time to see if I’ve really got what it takes to take my life to the next level….

About this outfit..

Femme Luxe pretty much took care of my holiday looks for me and made summer that much easier. I wasn’t too sure about this outfit when I first received it as I felt it was too clingy under the armpits. However, after trying it on, it became yet another firm favourite. The best part about this outfit is the versatility of it. I can wear it on top of swimwear on the beach or wear it as a dress to go out. I teamed it with my favourite perspex heels from Ego Official. I honestly love the affordability of their footwear and how on trend they are.

Perspex heels are not always the most comfortable footwear of choice, however; saying that when it comes to looking good. Sometimes we women do compromise on comfort for looking good. The silver choker was only a £1 from Roman Road Market and comes with a matching bracelet.  To ensure I wasn’t revealing too much I made sure to wear shorts underneath and I think I pulled the look off pretty well. What’s your thoughts?

Annoyingly I can’t find the exact dress on their website. But you can get your hands on tons of similar fits HERE

The armlet was another fabulous edition to my jewellery collection and cost £3.00, again from Roman Road Market.

The big silver hoops are from Primark and were £2.50 as part of a set.

Sasha Shantel X Love Leggings #LiveInLove

I hadn’t heard of this brand before they reached out to me for a collaboration. But I can honestly say that I was missing out as I have never worn a pair of jeans so comfortable; and I mean NEVER! I practically shot this look then returned home and wore it at home too. That’s the kind of comfortable I am referring to.

Orange Is The Colour

I’ve never ever purchased an orange blazer before. In fact; I don’t really own much orange clothing. But there is something really amazing about this orange blazer. I have your typical black and blue blazers, I also own yellow and green blazers, but nothing beats my new fave. I had already planned my all white ensemble and knew that the blazer would make it a LOOK. But, I honestly was not ready for this.

Stunting In My Green Shein Suit

Don’t I honestly look like a Jazz musician in this suit? lol; but I absolutely love it! I really wanted to try something a LOT different from my norm. Fashion is about pushing boundaries and not always sticking to your comfort zone. This suit couldn’t be further from my comfort zone. A bright green, not tight fitting suit teamed with big black boots. I never felt so free in this easy and effortless look.
