Celebrating Another Year – Afternoon Tea at Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel

was going to name this post “Levelling Up” as this is what always comes to mind when I go to afternoon tea. I love the feeling it brings and it reminds me of why I keep pushing and working on this blog and my other ventures. What it would be like to go to afternoon tea whenever I wanted and to review various swanky hotels and seeing what they have to offer. I am blessed with the fact that I ran my own online magazine for 8 years which afforded me the luxury of reviewing ALOT of different afternoon tea venues. Yet, that was then and this is now and I really want to take sashashantel.com to next level and to review more venues like these.

4 Things You Shouldn’t Do When Dealing with Stress

Stress can arise from various things such as the demands of your job, juggling your daily responsibilities, past experiences, etc. However, how you deal with stress can make all the difference. A study revealed that about 1 in every 14 adults in the UK feel stressed daily. Handling stress takes an intentional effort, and here are some things to avoid when doing so.

Sashashantel.com X Adidas

To be honest with you, it feels surreal typing this as I have worn Adidas clothing my entire life, though strangely; since lockdown last year I have found myself purchasing more of their clothing. I have always appreciated the quality of their sportswear and find the price point very affordable; especially for a leading sports brand.

Sasha Shantel X Wear ‘Em Out

I can honestly say that my periods have played a massive part of my life for many years. I have always had heavy, painful periods and have missed key events in my life from sports days, to friends weddings, had days off work and even had incidents as serious as missing an exam at university. It has been the making and breaking of me as, by having heavy periods I have really had to pay more attention to the food I eat as it often heightens the pain I have each month; if I so happen to eat too many sweet treats!

Three Reasons Why Hobbies Can Be Good For Your Health

It can be something that not many of us take time to do, as we have a lot of other distractions in life. With work and family life, it can be much easier to just sit down at the end of the day on your phone, but scrolling Instagram and watching Netflix don’t class as a hobby! When you have a hobby that you like to indulge in, then it can be something that gives you a lot of pleasure, as well as help to reduce stress as you can switch off. Depending on what hobby you choose, it can help your health, both physical and mental, so who doesn’t want to have that?

Sasha Shantel X Creme of Nature

As much as I love wearing wigs, I am very conscious of the fact that I have a bundle of curly hair underneath it and that hair requires my attention in order to keep it healthy. I have spent number of years, trying out different products for curly/kinky hair and am pretty happy with the products I incorporate into my daily routine. I have always loved Creme of Nature’s products, particularly their Argan Oil based Leave in Conditioner which is nourishing for both my hair and scalp. I have also found that although it has been made with us curly hair sisters in mind, their products are also very versatile and I use both their mousse and leave-in conditioner on my wigs.

Australia’s Must-See Natural Wonders

At 25 million years old, the Great Barrier Reef is one of the oldest natural formations on planet earth. It’s the only living thing visible from space, and it spans a whopping 3,000km. Thousands of tropical fish live here, and there are ample chances to dive or snorkel and see the reef up close. Sadly, the Great Barrier Reef is shrinking due to climate change, so there’s no better time than the present to see it in all its glory!
