More Than a Couple of Grey Hairs! A Few Concerns To Address Heading Into Your 40s

For most people on approach to their 40s, the biggest concern is minimising those grey hairs. But heading into your 40s and beyond means, you’ve got to put your health under the microscope. As a woman, your health risks will change the older you get. And while there are concerns in your 20s and 30s, you need to know what to look out for, so here are a few things to consider when heading towards your fourth decade.

An evening of Luxury Living with The Flaneur

I am totally under no illusions that this type of living is the norm for millions of people. I for one know exactly what it’s like to dine in 5 star restaurants and to hang out in hotels and spas that many would dream of. (Not bad for a woman from Peckham!) However, since I ended my magazine in 2018, and the pandemic dropped kicked me to the ground in 2020 (like it did for so many people!) I haven’t really dined out anywhere special. I haven’t surrounded myself with opulence and I haven’t been treated to anything special either.

5 Healthy Ways to Cope up With Anxiety

It is always natural that you will face challenges and get stressed, overwhelmed, and develop strong but unstable emotions. This is usually common after traumatic events where you develop strong emotions and lingering reactions such as disbelief, difficulty in sleeping, chronic problems and feelings of shock and frustration. The essential thing is dealing with your condition and managing stress in such circumstances.

1 Leather Pant, 3 ways – My collaboration with Wholesaleshopping.co.uk (Part 1)

I can’t lie guys, as much as I love collaborations, I am not really one to shoot the bulk of my content indoors. This is great in summer months but when it comes to winter, it gets that more challenging. So when I was contacted by wholesaleshopping.co.uk to style their faux leather cargo pants in three ways, I was initially going to decline because it meant I would have to venture outside. (I know right!) but when it comes to my content, it’s really important that I put out the best that I can so whilst out shopping I stopped and thanks to my personal photographer (Thanks mum) I was able to capture a few shots of this look.

7 Reasons Why You Should Get Moving

If you are lacking in motivation and in need of some inspiration to get started on your summer body in these cold winter months, whether you’re working out at home, in the gym or in the park alone, or with a friend, here are 8 reasons that will help to get you moving and keep you moving.

Winning in Black & White

Nothing beats the combination of black and white. Honestly, tell me a better combo! Can you ever lose when wearing this colour and this shade together. I always feel dressed up when I combine the two and this shoot was no exception. Continuing with the trend of wearing what was already in my closet, I realised I hadn’t shot this blazer that I hadn’t actually worn it out before so it made sense to create a look with it.

Having a Green Day

I’m having too much fun with these titles, but more so; I am really enjoying experimenting with different looks. Much like the yellow look before. I opted for pieces in my wardrobes that were not a co-ord and were instead separate pieces; all purchased from different places. I love colour blocking and I particularly enjoy doing this with bright colours as opposed ro light shades and pastels.

Blaze It Up in Yellow

I did mention a few blog posts back that I have really stepped up my style lately. In my opinion; I’ve always known how to dress but when I stepped into my 30’s I started to REALLY work on my personal style. I think this has come out a lot more this year from the shoots I did with Katie Ryan Creations and some of the earlier shoots I did with my mum. What I realised however is that I hadn’t shot many formal outfits. One’s where I show how I dress up smart!

4 Things You Shouldn’t Do When Dealing with Stress

Stress can arise from various things such as the demands of your job, juggling your daily responsibilities, past experiences, etc. However, how you deal with stress can make all the difference. A study revealed that about 1 in every 14 adults in the UK feel stressed daily. Handling stress takes an intentional effort, and here are some things to avoid when doing so.
