The Big Munch @ Frankie & Bennys

See it’s not everyday fine dining; as I am blessed to get the opportunity to dine in some of the finest eateries in London through my online magazine In-spire LS . Instead, there are times I want to catch up with my friends (on this occasion with my best friend Katie) and just have a fat munch! There really is no other way to put it, we’ve all been there and most of the time I’m pretty health conscious however, I will be the first to admit that when it gets cold and dark outside.

Cravings for something big and greasy sometimes creeps in. Besides, it wasn’t all greasy as some of the food was grilled. (I have a point!).

Having done a spot of shopping in Ikea before heading to eat in Battersea (I will be doing a small haul video on what I bought for my new planned white bedroom as well as an accompanying blog post soon) I was seriously drooling over the idea of grilled chicken and ribs, therefore it made a lot of sense to head there. Yet, the time I had previously went, turned out to be quiet horrible and I swore never to eat Frankie & Benny’s again.

Perhaps, on this case; it was the location as they do say Battersea is becoming more and more trendy after all. As the food tasted too good, like I’m salivating at the thought of what I ate now. My portion was massive. I went for a grilled platter as I am seriously one of those people who hates changed (particularly when it comes to my food)

This meet up and eat up was just before Christmas and up until coming here; I just wasn’t in the Christmas spirit. However, the little touches to of Christmas decor and the carols playing in the background really helped to put me in a good mood.

As I am sure you’re already familiar, Frankie & Benny’s is affordable and the food is divine. What more you could you really ask for?

The older I get, the less I want to rave it up and spend time with people I don’t want to be around. I crave a quiet life where I have the freedom to pursue life’s little gems; like stuffing your face on a cold winters day. That’s seriously my idea of  day well spent.
