#MyLookMyWay| Black Lace

It has been more than a while since I put up a style post…. In fact; I really want to put up other posts besides outfits. The truth is; I’ve been dealing with a lot of areas in my life and have recently learned what abandonment feels like. It’s not nice as humans to face such emotions; particularly when you don’t know where to start to put things in order.

The pain of the past few months have been trying. Both mentally and physically the pain has been great and I have found that although I have a phenomenal support system; I’m still lagging; still battling; still not able to forgive completely and to move forward.

That’s where fashion has helped me though; doing shoots and organising my wardrobe; throwing out the old and making space for the new has been my therapy. Charting my daily looks via #MyLookMyWay on Instagram and other social media outlets has been my release. I’m thankful for that and I’m even more thankful that my thoughts are beginning to become aligned.

This look was actually shot on a very warm day in London town and although I was blacked out; I wasn’t at all hot. The design of both pieces meant that air was easy to circulate. I drew a lot of attention with this look.It represents a transition for me in terms of my signature look and is definitely an outfit I would wear out. When it comes to your style; it’s important now more than every to define your ‘personal style’ and not to look like others. Fashion right now is so transparent with more and more people looking like clones of one another. This look stands out, black or not; it draws stares because it’s just not conventional.

The fendora is a purchase from H&M, whilst the black lace skirt and caged top are both from Krazy Sexy Kool – shop HERE

I’m currently selling the gladiators at a sale price on – To be fair, you’d be a fool not to buy it!

This look had to be shot outside; an indoor shoot just wouldn’t capture the intricate detailing of the skirt matched with the gladiator sandals.

I left accessories to a minimum with just a pair of hooped earrings; allowing the look to speak for itself.

Check out the hot shades in the bottom image; KSK are launching a holiday shop to allow you to purchase their exclusive shades and swimwear even though it’s approaching the winter months.

As always, I’d love your feedback. On top of that; I’m toying with the idea of filming Youtube videos; but what should I talk about? Your thoughts on this #MyLookMyWay post and a possible YouTube channel with new content would be appreciated.

Until the next post.
