I had walked past Bills in my favourite hot spot Greenwich, London for a long time. Meaning to go inside but never ever finding the time to. However, having needed to catch up with my friend Sabire after what felt like months, I decided that it was definitely time to venture inside and establish whether I was meant to believe the hype.
Let’s put it this way; I am not a vegetarian but had a vegetarian platter and every single bit, down to the crumbs tasted amazing. I kid you not, I can’t fault my meal at all. Sabire and I opted for a platter to share which was simply ‘faultless’. It was full of flavour; although predominantly vegetarian based, I barely missed eating meat. Could be a sign for things to come 😉
I am however, a massive fish lover and combined with avocado, I was in heaven. I often find that eateries either are unable to get rid of the overbearing ‘fishy’ smell or they struggle to add enough seasoning (because salt and pepper just isn’t enough right?) The fish was cooked to perfection and the garnish was the perfect compliment to what was an exemplary dish.
It had been a long time since I have had pink lemonade but if I be honest it was the gorgeous bottle that enticed me to order one. Isn’t the bottle gorgeous? We also went for a round of cocktails; the pictures are fabulous but they can’t event fully capture how satisfying these drinks were.
The staff were lovely and were attentive throughout and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The food, the setting and the customer service was brilliant. The company was exceptional too!
